To our California customers, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. California’s regulations pertaining to chemical toilets go far beyond what is needed (and what other states require). Happy Campers is safe and effective when used as directed. Rather than have an unproductive fight with the government about whether our product technically conflicts with its regulations we decided not to sell our product in California. If we changed our formula to avoid the potential conflict with the California regulations, our product would be less effective and substantially more expensive.
