Remember, only one treatment is needed for each holding tank and lasts until you empty your tanks, yes, even when storing for months at a time. You can even keep tanks fresh when winterizing. Simply add a scoop along with a couple of gallons of RV antifreeze and you're good to go.

About Happy Campers RV Black and Gray Tank Treatment

Happy Campers holding tank deodorizer treatment is a highly concentrated and water-activated monohydrate blend of minerals and micronutrients. This proprietary blend is packed with enough waste-treating power that 1 scoop of Happy Camper holding tank deodorizer treatment will treat and eliminate odors up to a 40-gallon holding tank.

The Happy Camper holding tank deodorizer treatment is not an enzyme-based treatment. Happy Campers RV black tank treatment starts working immediately to kill odor completely while promoting the growth of 'good bacteria' in both black and gray water holding tanks. Unlike enzyme tank treatments, you do not need to regularly add more to keep it working.

The Happy Camper holding tank deodorizer treatment is not affected by extreme hot or cold temperatures and is completely safe for RV plumbing and home septic systems.

*Happy Campers should always be used with plenty of water and should be fully suspended in water before adding to sinks and toilets.

USAGE: Happy Campers Holding Tank Treatment

1 Scoop Treats up to 40 Gallons

1) Prime holding tank by adding 1 gallon of water.

2) We recommend using a bucket or container to pre-mix by slowly sprinkling one scoop of HC while stirring into 1 gallon of water. Once product is suspended in water, then flush that down the toilet or pour down sink.

3) Lastly Add 1 more gallon of water and you're good to go.

4) Repeat this process after each dump.

USAGE: Extreme Tank Cleaner

Use entire container to clean 1 tank.

1) Make sure to fill holding tank between 1/2 and 3/4 full.

2) We recommend driving for 45 minutes prior to emptying tank. The motion and aggitation of driving is what helps this product work so well. If you are stationary and can NOT drive, then we recommend filling tank and adding the Extreme Cleaner and keeping it in your tank 24 hours.

3) Do not leave Extreme Cleaner in your tank longer than 4 days.

4) *This only needs to be done maybe once per year. Please note: This product is guaranteed to thoroughly clean your tank. If buildup or sludge was preventing your sensors from working this product will get them working again. Sensors are notoriously finicky. We recommend paying attention to what comes out of your tank. If a lot of gunk comes out but your sensors still are not working - there may be an issue with your sensors.

Extreme Cleaner Questions:

Is this the same as your other holding tank treatment?

NO! This product is designed to totally cleanse your holding tank, so that you can start fresh.

How long can I keep the Extreme Cleaner in my tank?

We recommend not leaving the extreme cleaner in your tank longer than 5 days.

What if I can't drive my trailer?

It is true, this product works best with aggitation, that being said, if you are in a fixed position, we recommend keeping the extreme cleaner in your tank for at least 48 hours.

    My wife and I have been full-time in a fifth-wheel since May 2014 and have visited all 48 contiguous states. This is the only tank treatment we have used. It was strongly recommended by the maintenance department of the dealership that sold our trailer. No perfumes, environmentally friendly, works quickly and very effective. I strongly recommend this product. It’s also available in a quadruple strength.

    Have only used this product once since purchase last week. I am very pleased with the performance of this product. It has eliminated the odors we were having in the bathroom. Also added to grey water as it had an odor also. Happy Camper came through like a champ! I recommend that everyone give this product a try.

    Best stuff ever; been using it for years. I use it in all drains and tanks, not just black water. I always buy the economical #130 treatment size and would buy it by the drum if it was sold that way!

    We've been using holding tank chemicals since 1999 when we first bought a live-aboard boat. We transitioned to ground campers in 2010, and discovered Happy Campers. It's the absolute BEST we have ever used. No odor issues at all, ever. Will never change to another.
