Product Information

This 18oz container treats one holding tank. (Each Happy Camper Extreme Cleaner Container is 1 Treatment). This Extreme Cleaner cleans, softens, helps dissolve all types of waste, toilet tissue, crud, sludge, light corrosion & scum buildup in holding tanks. Safe & effective if used according to instructions. Industrial Strength: Highest concentrated, most active (powerful) waste tank cleaner on the market today. The Happy Camper Extreme Holding Tank Cleaner sets a new standard for RV industry, repair centers, rental companies, & full-time RVers.
The Happy Camper Extreme Holding Tank Cleaner is recommended for winterizing, annual clean out, removing persistent odors caused by chemicals or medications obstructing your tank treatment.

DIRECTIONS: Much like clothes in a washing machine, rinsing & agitation does most of the work, EXTREME CLEANER simply softens & helps dissolve sludge & crud in holding tanks. Use on-board or flexible down-the-toilet rinser for best results.

Tank Cleaning: Effectiveness requires some type of agitation (tank rinser sprayer, long curvy drive, etc.)
• 1. Dump & thoroughly rinse tank
• 2. Mix entire container into large bucket of hot water till fully dissolved
• 3. Pour into toilet (sink for gray tank)
• 4. Fill tank with clean water to ½ (completely fill if stationary)
• 5. Aggressively agitate (long curvy drive) (if stationary soak overnight minimum)
• 6. Dump & thoroughly rinse immediately upon completion agitation & rinsing is key

Note: Waste tank sensors are historically temperamental, heavy cleaning will usually (not always) help restore scum crusted sensors. Stationary units require more rinsing with less success. Will not dissolve “wipes” or fix broken or corroded probes. Not a tank treatment or deodorant, to keep odor free use Happy Campers Organic Holding Tank Treatment.

Great For Getting Rid of Tank Orders

Posted by Nick P on May 6th 2020

We bought a used 2008 Diesel Pusher. Despite flushing and treating the black tank several times, there was a slight smell that we couldn't shake. Extreme tank cleaner was recommended on a Facebook Forum, so we gave it a try. We were exceptionally happy with the results, and NO MORE SMELLS. Happy Wife...Happy Camper! :-)Read More

    RV's 2nd Owner

Posted by sparksarehers on Jun 27th 2018

As the 2nd owner of this 5th wheel, I never thought about the original owners not using the black water holding tank properly. While my camper was getting some TLC and refurbishing at a repair shop, I was informed my black water holding tank was full of solids....I was horrified, embarrassed and ashamed. Although I was not leaving the black water valve open, it occurred to me that maybe the previous owners were not aware of which valve was which. My dad informed me of this product, granted I've used it 2 times on 2 different moves from state to state, there is a major difference in water color when rinsing the tank, it's actually clear water today. I recommend this product to anyone who buys a used camper just to be safe. You never know what the previous owners did or didn't do. Read More
